The Historic St. Nicholas Hospital becomes the Hotel St. Nicholas

The St. Nicholas Hospital was one of the very first medical facilities established in Cripple Creek to address the high-risks associated with mining. It transformed several times before becoming the Hotel St. Nicholas. This is the historic building’s story.
